It all started when Mike first heard house music, 10 years old introduced by his brother. He started out with an ear for deep and funky sides of house, and then soon moved on to the more underground sides of house and also techno.
Some big influences in Mike's musical development are the likes of St. Germain, Kerri Chandler, Nuyorican Soul and many funky bands from the 70's.
At the age of 15, Mike started to produce music. First he used some freeware from the internet and then, getting more into it was more into it, he bought his first hardware synthesizer which would be the foundation for his studio.
When Mike was 16, he played at a very big radio show here in Jerusalem, playing his own tracks. That gave him a lot of confidence about his music and a few years later, when he was 18, it was time to release his first record on a german label called Substatic ran by Falko Brocksieper and Mia Grobelny. After making the second record on Substatic, Mike joined Sushitech records, and released his first record under the alias "Chrom".
Later on, the other projects Mike released on "Tessera" for Sushitech under the alias "Chrom" and "Mike".
